ImageVAN ORIN, Illinois USA — Tim Lehr has responded to the generosity displayed to him last summer when his trailer caught fire on the way to LDRS by sponsoring a raffle to benefit Scott Ulrey of BSD High Power Rocketry, who suffered an injury from a saw accident in June.

Concerned hobby rocketry vendors pitched in last summer at LDRS and put together a raffle benefitting Lehr following his fire, and presented him with a check for $3,000 at LDRS following the sales of raffle tickets before the event.  It was only fitting that Lehr sponsor one for fellow rocketry vendor Ulrey following his accident.

"I know what its like to go out of business for a couple of months and it hurts," Lehr said.

Tickets are just $10 each, and you do not have to be present to win.  The raffle is scheduled to be held at LDRS in Argonia, Kansas on Sunday.  Lehr seeded the initial prize list with one of his Wildman Dual Deploy rocket kits and a Pro-Line Epoxy set, but encourages other vendors and manufacturers to donate as well.

All proceeds of the raffle will go directly to Ulrey.  You can call Wildman's Rocketry Supply to get your tickets at 866-707-9453 or 815-638-3200, or you may submit your payment via PayPal to This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it .  Please identify in the PayPal payment notes that this is for the Ulrey Raffle.
