ImageWESLEY CHAPEL, Florida USA — Jim Harris, owner of Gorilla Rocket Motors, is pleased to announce five new members of the Gorilla family, fresh off the certification test stands of Tripoli Motor Testing.  The new additions consist of an H, three I's and one L motor.

The H motor, which is an H186RT "Red Tornado" fits the Gorilla 38/390 hardware, and measured 312.12 Ns of total impulse with a 1.69 second burn time. 

The three I motors consist of the I223GT "Green Tornado", which also fits the 38/390 hardware and has 327.93 Ns of total impulse with a 1.48 second burn time; the I324RT, a red 38/640 motor with 526.46 Ns of total impulse and a 1.65 second burn time; and lastly the I389GT, a green motor also for the 38/640 hardware, with 553.15 Ns total impulse and a 1.42 second burn time.
 
The final motor certified was a red 75/3500 reload, the L789RT, with 3251.78 Ns total impulse and a 4.17 second burn time.

Dang - more updates for my spreadsheet on motors. (Not that I'm complaining! It's nice to see such a flurry of activity from multiple manufacturers.)

Good to see 38mm certified reloads for Gorilla!

The 38 loads are particularly good, lots of color and great burn. Should be welcome additions to the smaller rockets.
