GILBERT, Arizona USA — Sol Peña of Mercury Engineering Company, LLC announced earlier this week the release of their first 18mm model rocket kit, the Impulse Reactor.  The Impulse Reactor kit is designed for 18mm A, B and C motors and measures 17.5 inches in lenth and measuring in at .99 inches in diameter.

Engineered for altitudes over 1,000 feet, the Impulse reactor weight just 1.15 ounces and features laser-cut balsa fins, a balsa nosecone, heavy-duty airframe tubing, a 12" nylon parachute and water-slide decals.

The Impulse Reactor joins the re-released Integrator, a redesigned model featuring a cluster of three 24mm motors.  Standing over four feet tall, the Integrator has rugged features such as a four inch diameter airframe with precision laser-cut fins and motor mounts, a 36 inch 1.9 ounce rip-stop nylon parachute, blow molded plastic nose cone and comes complete with D-to-E engine adapters and water slide decals.
