GORMLEY, Ontario CAN — The CAR Motor Certification Committee has tested and certified a new Pro98® reload kit using our popular Red Lightning™ propellant.

The new N3180 motor was certified for use in both Pro98-6G and AeroTech RMS™ 98/15360 hardware. This reload kit uses the 98XL nozzle for maximum performance and has more total impulse than the N2500 Classic™ reload kit. See the thrust trace in the link on the right, which also shows the M1890 4G Red Lightning™ reload kit certified earlier this year.

Note that because of this larger nozzle, a custom aft closure is required for use in the AeroTech RMS 98mm hardware. This closure ring will be available from CTI. More details about pricing and availability will follow. CTI Pro98 hardware users can simply leave out the nozzle retainer during the assembly process.
