The LDRS 28 Planning Committee has opened registration for LDRS 28 today.  Fliers and vendors will be able to register at ldrs28.org.  The event will take place at the Torry Farms in Potter, NY. LDRS 28 will be held over the 4th of July weekend — the dates are July 2, 2009 through July 6, 2009.

With 16,000+ acres for launch and recovery, a location in the heart of the picturesque Finger Lakes region of western New York and a standing waiver of 15,000' AGL (windows to 23,000'), Torry Farms is arguably one of the great high power rocketry launch sites on the east coast.

Flier registration is $55.00 for all five days. With each flier registration you will be able to choose your own parking site. This will be reserved for the registrant and will be used for the entire event. Each space is 50' deep X 10' wide. It is suggested that fliers, friends and club mates band together and register early to maximize on the available space. If you need additional room for set up and lay out, you may opt to purchase additional registrations, at $55.00, to reserve more space for your self and your project. Parking site selection will be on a first come, first served basis. Early registrations will have the selection of the best locations. Register early to get the prime spots.

Vendor registration is free for Vendor Row.  Each vendor will be able to choose a 50' deep X 40' wide site on Vendor Row, on a first come, first served basis. As an option to the vendors, you will be allowed to purchase space in the fliers parking sites by simply registering as a flier. Vendors will have the same option as the fliers to reserve more space by purchasing more registrations, on a first come, first served basis.

Visitor and non-registered team members will be allowed to park for free in the visitor's parking lot, adjacent to the flier's parking lot. This will be enforced due to the layout and the need for adequate fire lanes between the parking rows.

Banquet tickets are $40.00 each and Official LDRS 28 T-shirts are $20.00 each.  The banquet will be held on July 4, 2009 at the Waterloo Holiday Inn in Waterloo, NY. The banquet ticket will enter you in the door prize raffle to potentially win one of many prizes donated by our generous vendors. There will also be a guest speaker as well as video entertainment provided by ROCKETS Magazine.
