ImageEUGENE, Oregon USA — Leading Edge Rocketry, the northwestern U.S. model rocket company that brought you the great LED-based Night Skeeter and Phoenix kits has just introduced another instant winner with the Alien, an exciting new LED-based kit joining Leading Edge's great Sportster series of kits.

The Alien has been designed to fly day or night with 30 external animated Super Bright light-emitting diodes (LEDs) plus three fluorescing edge-lit acrylic ribs illuminated with an additional nine high output (9000 Lumen intensity) LEDs, for a total of 39 LEDs, all controlled by the onboard micro electronics module. 

The third in their "Night Flight Equipped series," the Alien is by far the most advanced. Whether on the flight line or flashing through the air the Alien will be sure to be the star of your fleet. And, the night skies will never be the same again.
