ImageKANSASVILLE, Wisconsin USA — WOOSH, The Wisconsin organization of Spacemodeling Hobbyists, is pleased to announce the opening of online registration for NSL 2009, brought to you by the same folks who brought you NARCON 2004, 2005 and 2006, to be held at the Richard Bong State Recreational Area.
 
The dates for the event are May 23, 24, and 25. Memorial Day weekend near Kansasville, Wisconsin, west Racine. Assistance will be provided by Tripoli Quad Cities, and Tripoli Wisconsin Association.
 
Bong is a state park that is devoted to many forms of outdoor recreation, operating with two campgrounds. WOOSH has reserved one large group site for tent camping, so if you wish to camp out for the event, please register online for a spot in the group site.
 
The NSL 2009 official hotel is the Country Inns and Suites located near the intersection of Highway 50 and I94 in Kenosha county. A block of rooms has been reserved and you can book a room with two queen size beds for $79.99, or a king bed and sofa bed equipped suite for $89.99. Please see the website for contact information for this hotel and others nearby.
 
A special evening of stargazing has been planned for attendees on Saturday.  The Racine Astronomical Society http://www.rasastro.org/ will host NSL attendees at the Modine - Benstead observatory near Union Grove, WI. from 8 to 11pm. The observatory has a 14" and a 16" telescope.

GREAT!!

Not only does Bong get a nice spotlight, but this kinda volume will surely appease the rocket-eating trees & make them too full to eat much more for the rest of the year!!
