Any chance that this can fly stably on an I to work as both a L1 and L2 model, or is that the "Level 2 only" limitation? Perhaps it's too heavy to lift on an I? (I presume that the kit includes a 54-38 adapter, since the included HW is 38mm)

Seeing as how I'm (a) cheap and (b) not cert for L1 yet, a dual purpose bird is attractive. Not buying/building two just might leave some cash to actually get the electronics to go dual deploy for L2.

That rocket should absolutely work for a L1 and L2 rocket. Throw an decent I motor in it, and you should be all set for your L1. I would think an I300 would be good for the L1.

Easily work for both. I've never flown mine this way, but for an L1 cert I would do it in single deploy set-up omitting the av-bay and payload tube and using motor ejection. As far as an adapter I wouldn't care if he included one or not, especially at that price. Take the money you saved and buy an Aeropac tailcone retainer and adapter and you still come out ahead. That rocket is begging for the tailcone retainer. I put one on mine. Did my L2 on a AT J570 to 3500' last November. Two weeks ago to 7531' on a AT K550. Next up, Loki L1400 to ~12K and K350 to ~11k. Talk about two different ways to get to the same altitude.

This Bird will fly on anything from a G -L and iis one of the great things about it
Its totally modular use the booster with nose cone and fly it on G-j motors with motor ejection or use the alt bay and payload and fly I -L

This deal does not come with and adapter or retainer can be purchased separately
