ImageExpanding on its already popular line of ground support equipment, Heavenly Hobbies has introduced its LightSword 12v launch controller. The LightSword is a rugged and flexible controller, good for launching model rockets with black powder or composite engines. It was designed in the USA, in collaboration with major model rocket engine manufacturers, to provide the utmost in safety, reliability and convenience.  See some of it exciting features below:

SAFETY:

  • 40 ft. long leads from controller to pad
  • Safety interlock key with lanyard. No key, no launch.
  • Armed system alarm beeps intermittently whenever interlock key has been inserted.
  • High-intensity green LED signals continuity.
  • White controller box and wiring stand out in the field, sharply reducing trips and falls.

RELIABILITY:

  • Soldered internal and alligator clip connections
  • 17 AWG copper wiring throughout for 21% less electrical resistance than standard 18 AWG.

  • Leads connect to controller box via single RCA-type connector for easy set-up and take-down
