CEDAR CITY, Utah USA — AeroTech is once again offering a special promotion to its NAR and Tripoli Level 1, 2 & 3 certification customers, available only through participating high-power RMS™ dealers.

The Level 1-2-3 promotion begins March 1, 2009 and includes the H123W-M reload kit for $12.50 (50% off MSRP), the J350W-M reload kit for $27.50 (50% off MSRP) and the M1297W-P reload for $210.00 (25% off MSRP). This offer is exclusively for individuals seeking Level 1, 2 or 3 certification, and customers must present their NAR or Tripoli certification paperwork to the participating dealer prior to purchase. The Level 1-2-3 promotion reload kits will be clearly marked "for certification flights only".

The promotion ends on April 1, 2009. After that date, dealers who have any remaining inventory of Level 1-2-3 reloads may continue to sell them until their stock runs out. However, depending on the success of the program, AeroTech may choose to extend the length of the offer.

AeroTech Consumer Aerospace is a division of RCS Rocket Motor Components, Inc., Cedar City, UT.

They need to extend this to NSL so I can do my L2.

Anyone know where I can buy this deal from? AT's web site indicates only authorized dealers but no list of dealers. I checked out Wildman but he is only selling this with a kit. I don't want a kit because I already have a rocket.

Not trying to be critical, but the promo ends 4/1 and nobody will get these until late March? Kind of a tight window.

After April 1, the vendors will still be selling them until they run out of stock, according to the press release. It sounds like they loads will only be produced/available for order from AT until 4/1. I could be wrong, though. Wouldn't be the first time - just ask my wife...lol

Yeah I would be careful what you say about aerotech retail strategy...

That is a nice price on the J motor.

Oh, I saw the last dust up - that one got a bit chippy. I'm just bitter that my 3" rocket has a 29mm mount, and even if I ordered a bigger rocket today I'd never get it done by April 1.

Provided this deal works the same as it did last year; Once you have bought this engine, and I am sure a local LEUP can store and bring it to a launch for you, i.e. you can fly it any ol' time as you are agreeing to fly it for a "certification flight" at some point after it's purchase.

The L1 and L2 motors are a great deal imho. I used this deal last year and it was nice to fly for less.

Not wanting to say to much, as you may know, we are Aero Dealers. For a one month period the Dealers are offered a special price on L1, L2, and L3 motors. They may only be a small % of the whole order. The idea would be for Dealers to buy a little more in a slower time for Aero. Most if not all Dealers will have a limited supply. Tim @ Wildman is using his with a kit and hardware to give a great deal to the flier, and make a few extra bucks for himself. This is a win-win for both Tim and the flier. Take a little off the hardware, and kit. Add the fine price for the reload, and you can't go wrong. Tim has done L1, L2 offers many times. So have we here at Giant Leap. If you are thinking of stepping up a Level, now is a good time to get with Tim @ Wildman or Tim Thomas @ Giant Leap. And a special thanks to Gary @ Aero Tech, he has helped us many, many times. And remember... HAVE FUN!!! Tim Thomas GLR
