ImageLDRS 28 promises to be one of the best attended rocketry events in recent history. With less than 80 days to go, there are over 190 registered fliers on the roster. This is an event where you can expect to see East Coast Flying at its best. The list of awe inspiring featured projects continues to grow each day.

There will be ground pounding monsters such as the East Coast flier Dan Michael's with his 3/4 Scale Patriot. West Coast Fliers, the Gates Brothers will wow the crowd with Porthos, their up scale Sumo and the classic full scale Jay Hawk. Michael Gross will show off the creative side of rocketry with crowd pleasers like his Ice Cream Cone and Beer Bottle rockets.

This is just the tip of the rocketry iceberg. Check out the featured projects and everything LDRS 28 at www.ldrs28.org.

I've been busy working on my LDRS project for the past couple of months and it still feels like I have many miles to go. I only have 11 more weekends to get it done and it only feels like i've just started.

My own 'Featured Project' is going to be flight-tested this weekend, at Three Oaks. The only question marks right now are which motor I'll be using (an L or an M, depending on the cloud cover...) and whether or not the camcorders work in flight as well as they do on the ground.

I wonder if he'll wear baggy shirts, a tank top, and be leading calisthenics at Red Glare
