ImageWORLD WIDE WEB — Paul Holmes of Tripoli Motor Testing announced the certification of two new red 76mm motors today, a M900 for the Loki Research 6000ns hardware and an L480 for the Loki Research 3500ns hardware, both utilizing a six second burn and a Bates grain geometry.

The M900 is a 4% M motor, with 5332.37 total NS, 1190 max N, 846.58 average, with a 6.2 second burn time. Propellant weight is 3050 grams. The L480 is a 25% L, 3203.4 total NS, 587.03 max N, 504.31 average with a 6.4 second burn time. Propellant weight is 1830 grams.

There are four additional Loki Research motors due for testing prior to LDRS, as well as ten more tests by three manufacturers prior to LDRS.
