ImagePAGOSA SPRINGS, Colorado USA — The highly regarded rocket designer and 3D animator "Shrox" has joined the Quest Aerospace team as Creative Director.

Shrox's unique model rocket designs have fascinated rocketeers who usually proclaim upon first sight, "that won’t fly!" and are then amazed to see beautiful, straight flights.

"Shrox brings an incredible skill set to us and we plan to use his unique skills in rocket design as well as product graphics and 3D animation on our website," said company president Bill Stine. "I'm really excited to have Shrox with us."

Look for several new Shrox designs to hit store shelves in the coming year.

Since his forte´ is fantasy mid power, I would expect to see the "new" kits to transition from 2.25" diameter focused where Apogee had some cool parts, to 1.6-1.8" diameter which is more suitable for the lower thrust black powder motors Quest is doing, and likely to emphasize with this product line.

Another Austin guy does well. Good to hear he is still creating, if he ever stops he is a goner. Was great to heve him flying here with us in Austin for a while, always interesting as to what he brought to the field to fly.
