Mt. Clemens, Michigan, USA — Public Missiles is proud to announce the June, 1999 introduction of an all-new kit, expanding our line of smaller versions of PML favorites, the 2.56"-diameter Small Endeavour ($57.95).

The Small Endeavour is an exact duplicate of our Endeavour and Ultimate Endeavour, only smaller and with our new blended-polymer (and spiral-groove-free!) QT airframe tubing. Initially the kit should be ordered direct or through your dealer; the Small Endeavour may not be on our webstore at www.publicmissiles.com immediately.

Also, PML is re-releasing three of our very popular kits, the Miranda, Explorer, and Tethys! The Miranda and Tethys will be reintroduced in our standard phenolic tubing, but the Explorer's back with our latest airframe tubing, Quantum Tube (QT). All three kits will be available to order starting in the beginning of June, 1999, and are priced at $82.95, $52.95, and $83.95 respectively. As with the Small Endeavour, please see your dealer or call PML direct (888-PUBLICM, orders only please) to order these kits.

With the previous announcement of our new QT airframe tubing, we've also reduced pricing on our phenolic tubing. All phenolic airframes through PT-7.512 will be reduced in price as much as 19% (depending on the diameter). Phenolic tubing pricing is as follows:

PT-1.145, $6.95
PT-1.525, $7.95
PT-2.152, $9.50
PT-2.560, $9.95
PT-3.002, $11.50
PT-3.900, $12.95
PT-6.007, $29.95
PT-7.512, $34.95
PT-11.41, $69.25

Remember, the new QT is currently available in 36 x 2.1" (QT-2.15; $9.50) and 36 x 2.56" (QT-2.56; $10.95), with 3- and 4-inch to come later this summer (pricing TBD).

Another new release is our Harpoon missile-styled 11.4" nosecone. This nosecone was produced for PML's provision of 7 fiberglassed full-size Harpoon missiles (as well as ten 4" diameter Seawolf and thirty 4" diameter "enemy" missiles) for a British documentary called "British Navy In Action". The Harpoons were fired off a British Navy ship on 75mm Aerotech M1315's, and the captain said he could not tell the difference between the PML missiles and the real thing! This great new 11.4" Harpoon nosecone can now be yours for $189.95. Allow 2 weeks lead time for construction of the cone.

The last new items available are in the area of on-board electronics. PML now has available external electronics arming switches (SWITCH-01, $4.00) and a wiring harness with integral connector to connect the switch to your altimeter (2PINHARN, $4.50). Each of these items comes with a detailed instruction sheet and graphics to show you how to install them, even on an already-built CPR rocket. We also now have the P5TESTER available at $8.00, which can be connected to your PML P5 altimeter for quick ground testing and confirmation of proper operation, as well as to load the altimeter to drain the P5's NiCad battery fully after you're done flying for the day.

One more note: the Phantom kits are almost gone! Get your collectible kit with Phantom graphics today, before they change over to the new X-Calibur name!
