It looks like Wildman has another winner. A 2" all fiberglass kit for $80. Great value.

Darrell I think the caption for the articles image is wrong. Just a heads up.

What, you don't have any 29mm M850's?

An E motor? Seriously? At 1.65 lbs what E motor is going to safely lift that? Sorry, but I find that a bit of a stretch. Of course, that depends on what "rule of thumb" you use for the thrust to weight ratio.

An E30 should be ok in there?

Bit of a stretch; a sim shows an apogee of around 300 feet and a marginal speed off the rail. I guess for advertising purposes you could say it would work, but I wouldn't try to fly it that way.

Oh, c'mon, I've flown an Aerotech Arreaux (right at 1 lb) on an Estes E9. Okay, that wasn't the smartest flight ever, but it did make it off the rail, it did fly, and the parachute did eject before impact (about 30 feet AGL, iirc). 150' of altitude and about 300' down range.

We have flown it on an E30 not a great flight but it worked.
We have also flown it on an CTI I224 much better
