GORMLEY, Ontario CAN — Cesaroni Technology has released performance data for the new Pro38 reloadable rocket motors developed by CTI.
With pilot production on-line and regulatory approvals well under way, this new and radically different rocket motor system will be available to high-power enthusiasts in the very near future. The first thing new you will notice is the motor designation system. We have placed a number in front of the traditional NAR letter designation that tells you the actual total impulse in Newton-seconds. With more information available at a glance, it is hoped to help you in making motor choices. The Pro38 system has many other great features to offer: - User-adjustable delay time.
- Fast and clean reloading. Just unscrew the old reload, and screw in the new one. It's that simple, and in most cases no post-flight cleanup is necessary.
- Super-reliable ignition system.
- Low cost!
Perhaps the most innovative development in the Pro38 system is in the propellant itself. Rather than use a traditional HTPB or PBAN binder, Cesaroni Technology Incorporated has devoted months of research to developing a patented high-performance cross-linked thermoplastic propellant binder system. Originally developed for use in commercial and military applications, this propellant system offers high performance, superior mechanical properties, and even some smoke-and-fire effects. Best of all, the process allows finished propellant grains to be produced from raw materials in just minutes, thanks to proprietary process and equipment technology also developed at Cesaroni Technology Incorporated. |
