ImageELK GROVE, California USA — Quasar One Custom Rockets is pleased to announce the release of four brand new kits this month, including two new two-engine cluster models.

The new releases include the the X-Ray USAF, one of two new Quasar military-style offerings and the Thundering Skies. Both of these kits feature two-engine clusters.  Joining these two new rockets are the U.S. Army XR-7930 model, another unique appearing military-style kit and the Sky Needle.

All four of these new kits are designed for 24mm engines and can be seen now on the Quasar One website.

XRAY-1 USAF Kit: 

This rocket kit is a skill level 3 rocket that features a two-engine 24mm cluster and has six fins arranged in a military-styled layout.  The kit comes with a plastic nose cone, pre-cut balsa fins and laser cut motor mounts.  Recovery is provided by a black and white checkered parachute with a swivel to reduce tangling.  The engine tube comes foil lined to reduce the chance of heat damage from the ejection charge.

U.S. Army XR-7930 Kit:
 
This rocket is sure to get some real attention at the launch site. Another 24mm rocket, the XE-7930 also has a military inspired look.  The kit comes with a foil-lined motor mount tube to help with heat dissipation, laser cut black fiber centering rings and a 24" orange parachute with swivel.  Six high density balsa fins, 1/4" launch lugs and a high quality glossy sticker set round out this unique kit.

All you have to do is paint the rocket and fins green — we even tell you what Krylon paint color to use — and the nose cone silver.  That's it.  The rest of the artwork is provided in the glossy sticker set. Thundering Skies Kit:

Another new skill level 3 two-engine cluster kit, the Thundering Skies rocket will get you noticed at launches. Kit comes with a plastic nose cone and three pre-cut high density balsa fins.  The motor mounts are laser cut for precision and recovery is handled by a 24" yellow parachute with a swivel to help keep tangles out. 

The motor mount tube comes foiled lined for better heat dissipation and the motor gets secured with a metal engine hook for secure flights. Sky Needle Kit:

Need something different next time you go to a launch? Well Quasar One has designed this awesome skill level 2 rocket that stands over five feet tall. Do not let the size stop you from having a great kit to launch.  The rocket uses a 24mm engine tube that is foiled lined for better heat dissipation, 1/4" heavy duty launch lugs so you can use the bigger pads and the fins are pre-cut high density balsa wood for durability.  The recovery system is a 24" purple parachute and is supplied with plastic grommets for durability.  The engine centering rings are laser cut from black fiber material that is stronger than paper.
