Wednesday, January 27, 2010
GORMLEY, Ontario CAN — Cesaroni Technology Incorporated is pleased to introduce a special promotion for the Pro29 line, the Pro29 Starter Kit, celebrating the one year anniversary of the product line. The new promotion will allow for the affordable introduction of the Pro29 line of 29mm rocket motors to hobby rocketry enthusiasts everywhere.
The Pro29 special 2010 promotion consists of a Pro29-3G motor casing plus an aft closure ring, two Pro29 case spacers to allow you to fly Pro29 1G and 2G reloads kits in your 3G casing, a ProDAT Delay Adjustment Tool and a ProDAT centering ring for use with the ProDAT in the 29mm line of motors.
Using the supplied spacers, all eighteen Pro29-1G, 2G and 3G reload kits can be flown with this hardware package varying in total impulse from 41 Ns to 168 Ns, reflecting the equivalent of a Pro29/40-170 motor set.
Manufacturer's suggested retail price for the Pro29 Starter Kit is just $49.99, a considerable savings given that the retail price of the individual components is $71.30.
Check with your local CTI ProX motor dealer for starter kit availability and purchase.

Awesome deal. There are a lot of loads that fly in that hardware now, from a small F to a small H, including the new long-ish burning full-G altitude motor. I already have one 3-grain case, but I may pick up one of these kits just for the other parts.

Now this is a great way to get people into the hobby. For 50 bucks, they can have the hardware to fly F thru baby H, easy assembly without a lot of loose parts and instructions, instant and reliable ignition, have virtually zero clean-up, and get accurate delays with any motor they want to fly using the ProDAT tool. They will have a choice of 18 different reloads with a total of 8 different propellants available. Well, at least until Dr. J and his crew get back to the test stand again and come out with some more.

That just sealed the deal on my next hardware purchase. My kids are going to love using a skid at a 4H launch! ha ha! Deals like this are so important to the vitality of the hobby as a whole. Thank you CTI!

Just remember that all current skids are HPR motors and require not only L1 certification but also a minimum field size of 1500' radius or 1500x1500, a minimum of 1500' to the nearest occupied building, and an area cleared of easily ignited materials (including brown grass/weeds) of 75'.

and its CHEAP! what could be better?!?
Ditto for me too!
Now who's carrying that special ??
We shipped kits already to a few dealers. Others have them on order. I expect that all dealers will have them in stock soon.

Thanks CTI!

I wish these were around when I was doing my mid-powered rocketry. Unfortunately, everything I fly now is bigger.
I definitely want to thank CTI for doing this. I love their motors and think this will get ALOT more people using them.
