SALEM, Oregon USA — Binder Design is proud to announce the release of a new limited edition rocket kit named the "CERTI-FIRE in the Sky." The "CERTI-FIRE in the Sky" is a limited edition kit to promote the Fire in the Sky 2010 launch, which will take place May 28-30 in Mansfield, Washington.

The "CERTI-FIRE in the Sky" is a 4" diameter rocket that was designed for Level 1 and Level 2 certifications and is available with a 38mm or 54mm motor mount. It comes with the brand new Binder Design EZ Motor Retainer that can retain all current motor hardware including snap ring style.

Binder Design is making it easy to add dual deployment capability to this rocket by offering an dual deploy upgrade kit that includes their Avionics Bay kit, additional airframe section, recovery harness, and a drogue parachute. The "CERTI-FIRE in the Sky" comes with a F.I.T.S. decal package that includes the F.I.T.S. 2010 logo and flame decals for the fins.

Nice looking kit. Nice idea to have a "commemorative" kit for a major launch like FITS.

Now, if I wasn't in the middle of a scratch built project ...
