ATLANTA, Georiga USA — This Saturday at their regular meeting, the Tripoli Atlanta Rocketry Association (TARA) will be discussing and possibly voting on a merger with the host of this year's NAR National Sport Launch, the Southern Area Rocketry Association (SoAR), a local Atlanta NAR section with over 80 active members. SoAR has proposed that TARA and SoAR merge into one club in order to share resources and expand benefits. TARA has been discussing this over the last couple of months.

Tim Eiszner, former TARA prefect and current newsletter editor, will be hosting the August 21 club meeting at his house in Conyers, Georgia. The meeting will start at 1:00 PM. Food will be provided, please bring your own refreshments.

If you would like to attend, follow these directions:

Take I-20 east out of Atlanta to Conyers exit 42, GA138 and GA20 south. Go straight on GA20, as GA138 turns right about a mile south of I-20. The second left after the Publix is Irwin Place Development. Make right onto Jimson Circle/Drive. About the 6th house on left is 1012 Jimson Drive, big white and gray stucco. House numbers are painted on the curb and also run vertical on the mail box post. The phone number is 770-922-4200 if you need help.
