The Resistor 224 is Heavenly Hobbies' first clustered model rocket kit. It sports dual exposed 24mm motor mount tubes with double wall construction for performance and reliability. It flies on C- to F-class engines to allow customization of flight paths to a wide variety of Shigei targets. For those pilots that can't decide whether they like the traditional front ejection or the zipper-resistant rear ejection better, the Resistor 224 is an ideal model as it can be constructed either way. Moreover, it can be changed from one to the other at any time. As with other Heavenly Hobbies models, the quality of the parts is top-notch. The Resistor 224 uses a balsa nose cone, heavy-wall BT-70 tubes, an Amaze™ ejection gas baffle and laser-cut plywood fins and centering rings. In order to keep prices reasonable, the kit is sold without a parachute. Nonetheless, Heavenly Hobbies has thrown in a copy of their H.H. Simit™ flight simulator software as a bonus. The Resistor 224 will be available for sale on 7/1/2010 at www.heavenlyhobbies.com. |
