ImageVAN ORIN, Illinois USA — Wildman Rocketry listens to their customers, and the Tim Lehr is proud to introduce their latest addition to the Darkstar series: the Extreme Darkstar.

The Extreme Darkstar is a 4" diameter, 52" long fiberglass booster that is equipped with a 75mm motor mount, 3/16" G-10 beveled fiberglass fins, a 4" G-10 fiberglass coupler that is 11" long and a 4' 5-to-1 Von Karman nosecone.  As an added bonus, the first 20 units sold will come with an aluminum tipped nose cone.

Also included is a Kevlar® recovery bridle with a 9/16" tubular nylon shock cord, sheer pins, plastic rivets, all-thread, welded eye bolts and all the nuts and washers needed for your build.

The kit includes:

  • 4" Fiberglass Booster 52" Long
  • 4" Fiberglass Payload 24" Long
  • 4" 5-to-1 Von Karman Nose Cone
    (Aluminum tip added to the first 20 sold)
  • 75mm Fiberglass Motor Mount
  • 3/16" Thick G-10 Beveled Fiberglass Fins
  • 1/2" Baltic Birch Plywood Centering Rings
  • 4" Fiberglass Coupler 11" Long
  • 2" Long Fiberglass Switch/Vent Band
  • Fiberglass Coupler and Bulk Plates
  • All Hardware to complete this kit

Wow it has been a great kit. I am about finished with it and it is my favorite wildman rocket to date.

Here's the RocSim file I made of the stock kit.

I haven't begun construction yet, but mine will be heavy as it is stretched and carrying cameras and trackers. It's also built for future 2 stage applications

Mine comes in at just a tad under 14lbs ready for the pad. Unpainted.
