GORMLEY, Ontario CAN — The new Hypertek 'HyEFX' "M"-class hybrid motor has undergone static performance testing and is ready for Tripoli certification and flight testing. The new "M"-class motor produces a total impulse of over 11,000 Ns, making it an actual "N"-class motor.
The operational cost of the Hypertek "M" hybrid motor will be a fraction of the cost normally associated with traditional level three propulsion systems and no federal explosive permits are required for purchase, storage or use.
The first standard M motor was flown by Scott Bartel of blacksky at Black Rock earlier this year. |
