"It took longer then we had hoped, but both TARC part kits are now available on the Estes web site," Boren posted in a discussion thread on Ye Olde Rocket Forum about the new products. Boren, who goes by the user name "JumpJet" on that forum, was following up on a discussion he himself started shortly before Christmas, when he alerted TARC mentors to be on the lookout for the upcoming releases. "For those of you that are or know a TARC mentor, you might want to take a look at the 'Coming Soon' page on the Estes web site," Boren posted on December 15, 2010. The TARC Small Part Assortment (EST 002281) pack uses the egg capsule from the 'Eggs Express' kit and includes parts for both 24mm and 29mm motor mounts, while the TARC Large Part Assortment (EST 002280) pack uses the Titan III nose and adapter from which either a BT-70 size egg capsule or nose cone-size model can be created, and includes parts for both single 24mm and 29mm motor mounts as well as a 24mm two-engine clustered motor option. 002280 - TARC Large Parts Assortment Description: This assortment comes with over 35 pieces to create that winning rocket! The blow molded parts sold in the large TARC pack, which I recently purchased, are highly sought after throwbacks from previous kit molds, such as the nose cone and transition from the Titan IIIE kit. I hope they continue to revive and make available any BT-60/ BT-70 transitions for these TARC packs, such as the transition from the 36 D Squared. I also like the smaller pack, which features an egg capsule nose cone that will fit a BT-56 tube.
