ImagePORT CHARLOTTE, Florida USA — Rocketarium.com is pleased to introduce five more new models to their line of model rocket kits, expanding the company's product line to a total of 19 model rocket kits.

Based on BT60 body tubing, these five newest models are made for 18mm and 24mm motors in B through E impulse and includes a scale air-to-air missile, an air-to-ground missile, a research rocket, a surface-to-air missile and a scale sounding rocket.

The new additions brings new skill level 2, 3 and 4 kits to the hobby rocketry modeler, expanding their existing line of scale models and original designs, and offers something for all types of model rocketry enthusiasts.

Aster

The Aster is a semi-scale version of the ground-to-air Aster missile.

The real missile can be launched from the ground, or from ships, and is capable of 90 degree trajectory changes.

It is a skill level 4 kit, complete with a tail cone.

The finished kit is 24.18" long, is BT60 based and has a fin span of 5.66".

Recommended motors are: Estes® D12-5, AeroTech RMS™ E20-7, E18-7, E28-7

Little John

Deployed by the U.S. Army during the 50's and 60's, the Little John was used in airborne assault operations.

Prior to launch, it was spun on the rail for stability.

This missile system was light enough to be transported by helicopter.

This skill level 2 kit stand 20.44" tall, has a 1.637" diameter and a 4.44" fin span.

Recommended motors are: Estes C6-5, AeroTech D10-7, D21-7, AeroTech RMS D13-7, D24-7.

Research Missile 2

This vehicle was used to conduct testing of the effect of wing shapes on supersonic drag.

The finished model has four fins, two large wings and a tail cone. It is a skill level 4 kit.

The Research Missile 2 has an impressive 8.42" wing span and is 18.5" long. It uses a BT60 body tube.

Recommended motors are: Estes D12-5, AeroTech E20-7, AeroTech RMS E18-7, E28-7

SA-2 Guideline

This Soviet missile was deployed around major cities to defend against enemy bombers.

The missile system became famous after it was used to bring down a U-2 flying in Soviet airspace.

This skill level 4 kit has three sets of fins and an expanding tail cone formed from card stock.

The rocket is 26 1/2" long, has a 1.637" diameter and a 5.6" fin span.

Recommended motors are: Estes D12-5, AeroTech RMS D15-7

Price: $27.95

Viking 7

The Viking 7 set the altitude record for a single stage rocket in its day.

It was developed and flown from the White Sands Missile Range during the 1950's.

This clustered model includes details such as wrap-around bands which make it a skill level 3 kit.

The kit is nearly 30" long (29.5"), is BT60-based and has a 5.6" fin span.

Recommended motors are: 2 x Estes B4-4, 2 x Estes B6-4, 3 x Estes C6-5
