ImageKERRVILLE, Texas USA — Art Applewhite Rockets is proud to introduce the latest addition to his new series of rotary-rocket kits, the X-Fires.

The newest member to the X-Fire family is the 13 mm X-Fire. It has the same unique flight characteristics as its larger brethren but uses less expensive 13mm motors and can be flown in smaller fields, even backyards. It has a wing span of over 13 inches but weighs just 1.2 ounces, constructed with the highest quality components including tubes from LOC Precision and wings made from basswood grown in the USA.

The X-Fires use two motors for a unique and exciting, high performance flight. With their balanced, symmetrical design, they are one of the safest forms of cluster rocket possible.

Even if one of the motors fails to ignite the X-Fire will fly normally just not as high. No land sharks or lawn darts with this rocket. Auto-rotation provides a gentle, ultra-reliable descent close to the pad.

There are four recommended motors for this member of the X-Fire clan: Estes A3-4T, A10-0T, A10-3T and A10-PT.  X-Fires are the safest form of cluster rocket available.
