Like its smaller cousin—the Mariah-38—it features Giant Leap's new Shotgun Recovery System™. This means that the Mariah-54 is dual-deployment capable but has only one separation point to reduce drag and increase performance. The Shotgun configuration makes this a unique and high-performance rocket. The Mariah-54 is a complex rocket that comes with a detailed 25-page instruction and flight manual. It is intended for intermediate to advanced fliers who want to reach extreme altitudes as well as for those attempting speed or altitude records. The Mariah-54 kit comes with Giant Leap's phenomenal Magna-Frame™ composite airframe tubing, curved fins made from G-10 fiberglass, a 54mm Pinnacle™ nose cone, a 36" parachute and Kevlar® recovery system. Another feature of the Mariah-54 is an updated version of Giant Leap's Bread-Box Avionics Bay™ with its sliding access door to easily insert your electronics. The Mariah-54 is available at an introductory price of just $119.00. The kit can also be purchased in a money-saving package with the Raven2 Altimeter from Featherweight. Specifications: Length: 62" To learn more about the Mariah-54, go to www.giantleaprocketry.com and click on "What's New." KEVLAR® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in the United States. |

I can't provide exact dates, but it is in progress now. Flight testing with M motors will be required as well prior to release. It will be sooner rather than later.
Thank you for your interest.

I bet you would! Unfortunately, there are several ahead of you. That said, I'll keep you in mind for upcoming projects, how's that? I've got a dozen or so more designs I'm working on that will keep me busy for at least a year and will need a tester(s). I like to farm out different things to different people according to their skills and the demands of the design. Keeps things fresh that way.
Take care,
