TUSCON, Arizona USA — The Southern Arizona Rocketry Association (SARA) is excited to announce that it will hold its annual October Night Launch in conjunction with the 2011 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout held at the Tucson International Modelplex Park Association (TIMPA) facility on Saturday, October 8th, from 6:30PM - 8:30PM.

The Tucson Aerobatic Shootout is Radio Control Aerobatics at its finest! Pilots from around the world will compete for cash and prizes totaling over $100,000.00. The week-long event (October 5 - 9) is one of the largest and hottest R/C aerobatic competitions in North America, providing a great opportunity to introduce the rocketry hobby to R/C flyers and spectators from across the country.

SARA will have a booth with information and static rocket displays setup during the day to provide SARA club members ample opportunity to interact with the R/C flyers and spectators outside of the night launch activities.
