BoosterVision will be making available their new GearCam HD Real Modular [RM] Digital Video Recording Camera at LDRS 30. The GearCam HD DVR-RM is a new high definition mobile video device able to capture exciting video and audio that you can view the on your computer in HD and even your HDMI DVD/BluRay players in High Definition 720P. At the size of about 28mm by 4 inches long its about the same size as a F20 EconoJet rocket motor.

It records digital video at 1280x720 High Definition along with audio. The GearCam HD DVR-RM can run for over two hours on the built rechargeable battery and stores the data in the microSD card of your choice, up to 32GB in size. (MicroSD card not included) The GearCam HD-DVR Real Modular allows you to plug the microphone to provide sound suppression that prevents recovery wind noise in your videos while still hearing ignition, boost, ejection, and even the recovery harness and parachute sounds; but without all the annoying loud wind noise.

With its metal armorized modular case, it is water resistant and can be made water proof for water recovery rockets. But what really is exciting is you can hack the camera and remote mount the HD camera sensor, for example in down looking shrouds.
