MASPETH, New York USA — The Independent Association of Rocketry has recently completed the first phase in their journey to become a recognized not-for-profit rocketry organization by completing the steps necessary to become incorporate.
Officially known now as the Independent Association of Rocketry, Inc., IAR is positioning itself for the acquisition of new members worldwide. According to John Herbold, IAR Advisory Council member, "We feel that we are now ready to grow, and take on volumes of new members."
The Independent Association Of Rocketry is a community of individuals involved in non-professional rocketry in all forms -- whether that be low-, mid- or high-power. They are open to participants from every country via interconnected means on the Web, email and postal services. They advocate safe and free personal rocketry worldwide while striving to find new ways to serve the common interests, filling gaps left by other rocketry groups. Still new and small, there is plenty of room for new ideas, leadership and creativity.
