NAR legal fund raffle winner announced |

SPRINGFIELD, West Virginia USA — Blackhawk R&D and Missile Works Corporation have announced the winner of their Legal Fund Raffle. The two companies decided to contribute the proceeds of a joint raffle to the National Association of Rocketry's legal fund for use by the organization in its ongoing battle with regulatory agencies over legal interpretations of federal explosives laws that affect hobby rocketry.
The prize was a Blackhawk R&D 4" diamter Astrobee rocket kit and a Missile Works RRC² altimeter, carrying a combined retail price of $180. Entrants paid $5, which were forwarded directly to the NAR in the name of the contributor.
Proceeds redirected to the NAR totaled $425.00, and the winner was Palmer Hudson of Gastonia, NC.
