LAS VEGAS, Nevada USA — In what appears to be a pending acquisition of Kosdon, a preliminary announcement was made today by Aerotech through the Extreme Rocketry magazine website. According to the News section there, they received the following information from AeroTech Friday regarding the associated rumors:

"To address the rumors of an impending business association between Frank Kosden and AeroTech, Inc.; the arrangement will be 1. Good for Frank. 2. For those in the sport who want to see a continued variety/supply of certified motors and hardware, a positive development. 3. An opportunity for Aerotech to assist in advancing options available to rocketry enthusiasts."

Through an anonymous source, we have learned that the deal will allow Aerotech to legally produce Kosdon motors in all sizes currently available to the extent Kosdon's current motor line-up is certified, even in California. Kosdon will will receive royalties from this arrangement, and be allowed to pursue his real passion - large motors. This deal will give Frank the time to concentrate on some fun projects instead of what Kosdon calls the "bitching, pointless BS of TRA 'certification'". Under agreement, details are being worked out so Paul at Kosdon East can continue to manufacture his whole product line under the Kosdon name or a derivative thereof, and perhaps allow Frank to continue making some small reloads for sale to his special customers on the West Coast.

As more details are made available, they will be posted here.
