COVINA, California USA — Sue McMurray, chairperson of the Tripoli Motor Testing organization, stated today that TMT had completed the testing of the new R.A.T.T.Works 29mm and 2.5" hybrid motors, opening up yet another avenue for hobby rocketry enthusiasts to acquire certified commercially manufactured motors.
Dave Griffith, owner of R.A.T.T.Works, joined the TMT crew on Saturday for a long day of testing of the 29mm and 2.5" hybrids. All that's left before the official announcement, according to McMurray, is to "crunch the numbers" and the announcement would be made, bring R.A.T.T.Works four hybrid motors officially to market. When commenting about the testing procedures, McMurray stated that "the testing was very successful and the motors performed beautifully."
The two 29mm motors consist of an H and an I impulse class designation, with each priced at $59.95 and $79.95 respectfully. The reload kits are scheduled to be $9.95 each or $24 for a package of three. The 2.5" diameter motors are slated to be L and M motors. In the works is an 01200 motor with a 14 second burn time.
