SAVANNAH, Georgia USA — The b2 Rocketry Company is pleased to announce new recovery system products are now shipping! Items included are the SkyAngle Deployment FreeBag, The SkyAngle Classic II line of parachutes, and individual nickel-plated swivels.
SkyAngle Deployment FreeBags are based on a tried and true military "free bag" design and attaches directly to the nose cone for separate recovery. Ingenious in its simplicity and ease-of use, this deployment sleeve completely envelopes the parachute in ripstop Nomex® while insuring a reliable, untangled deployment and inflation. They are available in three sizes tailored to fit each of our popular SkyAngle CERT-3 main chutes. (They work great with other parachute brands as well.) SkyAngle Deployment FreeBags are engineered with high quality materials, impeccable craftsmanship, and are priced to blow the competition away!
SkyAngle Classic II parachutes sport the same sizes, design and lines as the popular Classic series, but feature 1.9 oz. ripstop balloon nylon and a beefier 1,500 lbs test swivel as found in the SkyAngle CERT-3 line of parachutes.
SkyAngle swivel assemblies are the same 1,000 and 1,500 lb. test swivels found on all SkyAngle parachutes. "We think every chute out there should become swivel-ized", says b2 owners Mike and Pam Barton, "and now they can with these strong, yet inexpensive upgrades."
