WORLD WIDE WEB — The Blue Mountain Rocketeers NAR # 615 is pleased to announce the winner of their October Sky poster raffle! Susan Johnson-Roehr of Bloomington, IN was drawn from over 350 names at BMR's final launch of the 2000 season on October 21.
Susan will received a professionally matted and framed full-color October Sky movie poster, autographed by Homer Hickam, Jr. She will also received with the poster, a hard-bound copy of the book "Rocket Boys", the story from which the movie was adapted, AND a video copy of the move "October Sky".
BMR would like to congratulate Susan on winning the raffle, and would like to extend their gratitude to those people from all over the United States and Canada who participated in this year-long fund raising event. The money raised from this raffle will be used to further the on-going youth programs of the Blue Mountain Rocketeers youth model rocketry club. |
