ALOHA, Oregon — There is a new company engaging the rocketry community. It is the merger of Aardvark Hobbies and Blackhawk R&D. The new kids on the block are opening their doors as Aardvark Rockets and Hobbies and have a new manufacturing location in Aloha Oregon.

The already international and established rockets by Andrew Bronfein's Blackhawk R&D will continue as an anchor line in the new company. They will continue to be supported, improved, and expanded. Under the auspices of Ken Johnson's Aardvark Rockets and Hobbies the partners will soon introduce several new lines of rockets and many new rocketry related products.

The Mini Missile line will have "accu-scale" parts. This line will be amazingly affordable considering that the "industry stock" nose cones will not be utilized. Instead custom nose cones will be produced to accurately reproduce scale data. This line along with several other innovative ideas will bring back the days that those of us Born Again Rocketeers can remember.

Please be patient as manufacturing is shut down and relocated over the holidays. Soon after we greet 2001, Ken and Andrew will have relocated manufacturing to Oregon and will be prepared to gear up production facilities. Aardvark is now taking pre-orders for the initial production runs that will commence soon after the New Year. Stop by and check out the new store on the web at . Watch for the new line of exotics that will prove to be a truly spectacular addition to any launch activity.
