WORLD WIDE WEB — After a year in development, the United Kingdom Rocketry Association (UKRA) launched the Model Achievement Programme, to all their members. Originally designed in response to a perceived lack of value for money on the part of Junior members, the original trial of Junior Scheme focused on providing a programme to interest and educate Junior members.

After feedback from trialists, the scope was enlarged, making the programme available to a wider audience. To this end the programme was renamed so as not to patronise any 'older' members wanting to participate. Also the administration and membership options were restructured to accomodate UKRA members wishing to run the programme with schools and youth groups.

With the launch of the Model Achievement Programme UKRA hope to extend their activities into schools and youth groups, in an effort to popularise the hobby, and encourage and inspire future generations of rocketeers.
