MT. CLEMENS, Michigan USA — PML's new CPR3000-based Thunder 'n' Lightning kit is finally on the shelves and ready to ship! If you're a CPR fan or a two-stage fan it's definitely been worth the wait. The new Thunder 'n' Lightning has not only been redesigned for CPR3000, but also has a brand new interstage coupler system called the InterStage 3000.

The InterStage 3000 coupler is a very compact and sturdy design, and also mounts the new ST-2B Staging Timer in a really nifty "CPR-style" mount. The CPR altimeter mounting system allows for quick swapping of the altimeter between rockets, and now there's a similar style mount for the InterStage 3000 system, making it much easier to prep, install, and fly the staging timer system. The T&L instructions have also been completely revised to go along with the redesigned rocket and new systems.

ST-2B STAGING TIMER
PML also is announcing a brand new staging timer that works with the new InterStage 3000 coupler system, which is currently used on the T&L and also in PML's recently-released Terrier Booster for the MiniBBX kit. The ST-2B is capable of up to 5 amps output for igniting upper stage motor igniters, and can be seen on the Electronics page at http://www.publicmissiles.com/ . Don't forget that the ST-2B is a good choice for scratchbuild 2-stage projects or for airstarting outboard motors in clusters in one-stage kits as well.
