ARVADA, Colorado USA — Missile Works Corporation announces the release of the PET2 (Programmable Event Timer). The PET2 has gone through extensive flight testing and is now ready for shipment. The PET2 is the most advanced, feature-packed two-event timer available for HPR. It is an extremely versatile platform suitable for numerous rocketry applications that includes staging, air starts, recovery, photography, or signaling controls.

The unit features 2 completely independent programmable timers, each capable of 4 triggering modes (G-switch close, G-switch open, Pull-pin, or G-Switch/Pull-pin tandem) and 2 modes of operation (single event for pyro charges, repeated event for cameras or signal devices).

Each timer has 2 timing ranges. Low range is 0.5 to 8 seconds in 0.5-second increments, and high range is 2 to 32 seconds in 2-second increments. The unit also features audible pre-flight continuity status, audible pull-pin fault alarm, audible post flight continuity, and an audible input test mode to verify DIP switch programming operation.

The PET2 User Manual is now available online for download and review, as well AVI clips and in-flight data capture results.

Missile Works Corporation made two successful demonstration flights of the PET2 at the recent Springfest 2001 launch.

There are several other new products available as well, including the newly redesigned Digi-Fire Wireless Launch Control System, new motor liner and casting tube tandems, a host of new and innovative parts and supplies, and a new FreeWare and Apparel section.
