WORLD WIDE WEB — Stanford Systems is pleased to announce the release of do-it-yourself kit for PVC rocket motor construction, scheduled for August of 2001.

Whereas many DIY manuals are available for sale on the Internet, none include all of the chemicals, equipment and supplies necessary to build a fully functioning rocket motor. Stanford Systems' kit will feature melting and casting equipment, chemicals and supplies for making 5 Sucrose/KNO3 F-class motors and exclusive Windows-based software that allows design of motors of any size and configuration.

After completion of the kit, Stanford Systems will offer "refill" kits, containing supplies for F- thru I-class (and possibly larger) experimental rocket motors. For safety reasons, these refill kits will not be available to the general public.

Also note that a LEUP permit may be required by BATF to actually construct the kit in your locale.

With a projected retail price of only $99.95 US this kit is sure to be a hit with high-power rocketeers looking for a structured introduction to solid-fuel motor construction. Sales will be handled exclusively through Stanford Systems' web site, and additional details can be found at http://www.ssaerospace.com/diykit.php3.
