RIO RANCHO, New Mexico USA -- Dave Johnson passed away Sunday morning (August 26) at his home in Rio Rancho, NM. Many of you know Dave as the owner of Orbital Dynamics, Inc. Dave was instrumental in advancing the Albuquerque Rocket Society as well as the other New Mexico Clubs.

In addition, he was instrumental in starting several special event launches including Thrust in the Dust, the V-2000 event, the A-Rocket launch as well as many other experimental and TRA sponsered launches.

Dave was fond of high power rocketry, experimental rocketry, model rocketry and the people who shared the same hobby. His main driving force was to simply make things better for those around him. His generosity, helpfulness, encouragement, and frindship will be missed by those who knew him.
