With an increase in requests of status of the Aerotech prefilled Hybrids and a recent status update from Gary Rosenfield on the present and future status of this motor system, It has been decided to place all of the Aerotech Hybrid motors into Consumer Burn Period status.

This means that all present 54 and 98 MM motors available for use, are authorized to be flown at commercial launches until the end of December 2009. Mr. Rosenfield is still working out details to resume production, in some fashion, of this motor system, and once presented for recertification, this status may change at that time. This decision is based primarily on the safety and quality record of this system.
