After an apparent flight failure at this year's LDRS 17 in Wendover, NV, Pratt Hobbies has announced a recall in the WEC-1 Ejection Canister.

This new product means easy production of ejection charges due to the simplicity of the design. An electric match housed in a plastic vial with a snap-top lid. Use is as simple -- pour in the desired amount of black powder and close the lid. As a new product, it's too early to derive any real use data, so Pratt decided to take the smart and safe approach.

Doug Pratt, owner of Pratt Hobbies, requests that you please test your remaining WEC-1's to see if they fire and email him with the results. For your help, he will send you a refund check to cover the cost of the units. Pratt asks that you DO NOT use them in a flight.
