GORMLEY, Ontario, CAN -- Cesaroni Technology Incorporated (CTI) is pleased to announce to it’s US customers that a new series of Pro38® reload kits has been Tripoli certified and will begin shipping to US dealers in the next two weeks.

At the request of our US distributor, blacksky Corporation, CTI has adjusted the Pro38 grain manufacturing equipment to produce grains with propellant weights of 62.5 grams each. This change will allow the single-grain G reloads to be sold and flown as high-end model rocket motors. To streamline manufacturing, the one through five grain reload kits have been re-certified with the new grain weights, and all US destined product will now be shipped as such. The 6 grain revised configuration is being scheduled for TMT testing and will be released after certification is received.

The change to 62.5 grams per grain from the original 64.5 grams results in a slight decrease in total impulse, and this coupled with some minor design revision results in a new set of motor designations for the one through five grain motors respectively as follows: 133G69-12A, 244H153-13A, 384I205-14A, 512I285-15A, 610I360-15A. All motors use the Pro38 adjustable delay feature and all available delay times have been tested.

These new reload kits are classified by the US DOT as UN 1.4C explosives. Application has been submitted to the California State Fire Marshal for classification and an announcement will be posted when this is received. The original reload kits are still classified with CSFM under HPR-1123.

The original series of 64.5 gram per grain reload kits remain in production and will continue to be available to the Canadian and foreign marketplaces.

For questions regarding the new reload kits please contact blacksky Corporation or your local Pro38 dealer. A dealer list is available on our website at http://www.pro38.com.

Research and development work continues on Pro54® 54mm reloadable motors, and CTI hopes to make announcements on this new product line in time for the 2002 flying season. In addition, an announcement is forthcoming on several new HyperTEK® hybrid rocket motor products.

Pro38, Pro54 and HyperTEK are registered trademarks of Cesaroni Technologies, Incorporation in Canada.
