BATON ROUGE, Louisianna USA -- Giant Leap Rocketry announces a fin beveling service on G-10 fins. "Fin beveling is necessary for low drag and high performance. But it's tedious and time consuming, and difficult to do properly," according to Ed from Giant Leap Rocketry.

Giant Leap now offers fin beveling on it's standard line of fins as well as custom fins ordered from Giant Leap. They will also bevel pre-existing fins that customers send to them (.093, .125 thickness G-10 only).

Most custom fin styles can be accomodated, but call first for custom work.

Bevels extends about 7/16" from leading and trailing edge. Ed notes "beveling does to the look of a rocket, what proper cutting does to a diamond--it finishes is it beautifully."
