LAS VEGAS, Nevada USA -- RCS Rocket Motor Components is pleased to announce the immediate availability of several new products for 2002 and the debut of an improved and expanded website.

The first product is a molded glass-reinforced phenolic nozzle (RCS part no. 01670) suitable for 54mm and larger experimental motors. This is a large single-throat nozzle and is perfect for motor designs requiring a high expansion ratio and experiencing moderate-to-high throat erosion.

Like other RCS nozzles, the as-molded throat can be enlarged using high-speed steel drill bits. The new nozzle sells for $14.95 each.

The redesigned RCS website is now up and running, and incorporates an online "Resources" area which includes an abbreviated version of the material found on the RCS Resource Library CD-ROM. RCS will be adding more resources to this page as time and opportunity permits. Other site features include links to other experimental rocketry websites, an EX-launch calendar and a user's page where you can post your own propellant formulations and motor designs for fellow experimenters to try. Jason Blatzheim and Jim Green have agreed be the first "EX-ers" highlighted on the site.

As a reminder, RCS customers may now use PayPal for making online order payments. Payments may be made on the PayPal website using the email address This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it . Previously, only checks and money orders could be accepted for payment of RCS orders.

RCS is continuing work on introducing additional products for 2002, including the previously-announced "effects" propellant premixes, experimental motor hardware and tested & proven motor designs available for download in PDF format.
