AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands EU -- Rebel Rocketry has introduced a PayPal® Shopping Cart System on their webpages for the ordering of products.

This is a first in Europe for a Rocketry Vendor, and to cellebrate the event Rebel will give a 10% (order value) voucher to every 5th customer who places an order during the months of May and June. Next month a PayPal Shopping Cart System will be introduced for customers outside of Europe for the European products.

Rebel will introduce four new kits the coming season. The Rebel Impulse, a 3'' sport flyer, perfect for Level 1 flights. The Rebel mini Pirate, a 3'' version of the existing Rebel 4'' Pirate. The Rebel Marauder, a 4'' fun flyer which will be revealed UKRA 2002. The Rebel Corsair, which will be a limited 4'' two stage high performance limited (numbered) edition kit. The Rebel Ignis Volans Epsilon and the Rebel Cougar will become available in 2003.

Besides the new kit line Rebel has introduced the RedBaron recovery line and Nose Cones. Rebel also has started manufacturing Scotglas nosecones for the European market.

Rebel has started a large HPR project called Freedom. The goal of this project is to give HPR flyers from the Netherlands and Europe a chance to participate in a complex HPR project and expand their experience. A mini Freedom will be launched during ALRS III in Switzerland coming October for some tests. The Freedom itself will be launched in 2003 at XPRS. Freedom Team members will then also be able to launch their own projects during this launch. Up till now the sponsors of this project are Rebel, RedBaron, PML, Scotglass, AED and Defy Gravity. The progress can be followed via the Rebel webpages under techniques.

Rebel will release a Pirate and Marauder for product review by Extreme Rocketry magazine in some weeks. They will also send photo's of the finished models with the kits that can be used for the review.
