ATLANTA, Georgia USA -- Southern Area Rocketry, (SoAR) section 571 of the National Association of Rocketry will be conducting demonstration flights and displaying rocketry items May 18, and 19th at Dobbins Airforce Base Atlanta, Georgia in conjunction with the Naval Air Station Atlanta.
SoAR will be launching demo flights from 10:am to 11:am and 4:pm to 5:30 pm. SoAR will also have a manned booth to answer questions about rocketry, show rocketry video tapes and handout information to those in attendance. They will also have a large display in the static display area where the aircraft will be. The Navy is estimating 30,000 people attending per day.
