CASPER, Wyoming USA -- CP Technologies has updated the software packaged included with its bookset, "How To Make Amateur Rockets." All owners of the first and second editions can upgrade their software to Version 2 for only $9.95, which includes shipping within the United States.

Improvements have been made to all of the CP Technologies software programs adding features requested by users. One of the major features added is the ability to exchange information directly between FPRED (Motor Design Program) and FLIGHT (2D Trajectory Program).

Now, amateur rocket designers can design a motor in FPRED and send the motor performance data to FLIGHT to see how it flies in their rocket. If they are not satisfied with the rocket's trajectory, they simply redesign the motor and send the new motor performance results to FLIGHT. Once the trajectory is satisfactory, the motor design can be built with confidence, knowing it will work as desired in the rocket.
