BATON ROUGE, Louisianna USA -- Giant Leap Rocketry Inc., has released the SLIMLINE AVIONICS BAY. It is precision machined compartment that holds a variety of flight electronics such as altimeters, deployment timers and other devices.

It is machined of 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, and is anodized in contrasting colors for both beauty and protection. The endplates and the body openings are precision laser cut. The U-bolts and other hardware are hardened stainless steel.

The Slimline Avionics Bay also includes a mounting plate for your electronics. This mounting plate is an advanced aerospace composite, comprised of a honeycomb nomex that is sandwiched between layers of hard fiberglass.

According to Ed Shihadeh of Giant Leap, "absolutely no expense has been spared in the construction of the Slimline Avionics Bay...even down to the detailed and illustrated 6-page illustrated instruction manual. The Slimline Avionics Bay is great insurance too. In the event of a crash, sensitive and costly electronics have a vastly greater chance of survival in this ultra-strong compartment than in avionics bays made of phenolic or plain paper."

Introductory Price... $99.00 (because this unit is light weight, reduced shipping charges will apply)
